Johann Havenga

Johann Havenga has a strong background in project development and management. Johann currently serves as the Chief Projects Officer at Mint Innovation, where they are responsible for delivering the company's program of works internationally. Prior to this role, they worked as a Program Manager at Mint Innovation, overseeing the development of a commercial plant for metal recovery from waste streams.

Before their time at Mint Innovation, Johann founded and led Section 96, a project development and support company. As the Initiative Lead, Founder, and CEO, they assisted clients and employers in identifying key initiatives to achieve strategic goals.

Johann also has experience in the transformation and commercialization of technology as the Transformation CEO at Green Camel Pty Ltd. In this role, they led the implementation of a large-scale greenfield project and integrated existing operations into the new project.

Earlier in their career, Johann founded and served as the CEO of Teleo Projects, a project development firm that emphasized the inclusion of local team members in the project delivery process. Johann also worked as an Initiative Lead at Woolworths Group, supporting the development of a fully automated distribution center.

Additionally, Johann gained valuable experience as the Principle Engineer - Projects at Teleo Engineering Pty LTD, where they led the project team and successfully navigated the challenges of the Global Financial Crisis and the mining downturn of 2014.

Johann then pursued further education at the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2004 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Business Administration and Management, General.
