Analytical Scientist at Mint Innovation

Meghan Hannay has a diverse work experience in the science field. Meghan started their career at AsureQuality in 2010, where they worked as a Technician, primarily handling sample preparation and calibration of equipment. Meghan then transitioned into the role of an Analyst, where their responsibilities included bench extractions and processing data from LC-MS/MS and HPLC-FL instruments. In May 2013, they became a Workflow Coordinator, focusing on tracking and coordinating lab workflow and communicating with customers. After leaving AsureQuality in May 2015, Meghan joined Maxxam Analytics as a Laboratory Technician, primarily involved in quantitative analysis of food residues using wet extraction methods. Meghan also temporarily worked as an Analyst, organizing runs for LC-MS/MS and processing data. In 2016, they joined Intertek Melbourn as a Scientist, specializing in quality testing of pharmaceutical products, including method development and validation using HPLC and GC techniques. In November 2017, Meghan joined RPS as an LC Analyst, responsible for analyzing environmental contaminants using LC-MS/MS instruments. Meghan was later promoted to LC Senior Analyst in November 2021. Most recently, in May 2022, they joined Mint Innovation as an Analytical Scientist.

Meghan Hannay obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Science majoring in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Massey University, which they attended from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2007, they completed a Certificate in Science and Technology at the Eastern Institute of Technology. Meghan's secondary education includes completing NCEA level 2 at Havelock North High School, where they attended from 2005 to 2006.
