Stan Borkowski, MD, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience.

Starting in 2006, they served as the Country Delegate for Poland at Comité Européen des Assurances (CEA) until February 2010.

From 2010 to 2011, they were a Board Member and acting President & CEO at Allianz Bank Polska SA.

In 2011, they became the Vice President and later an Advisor to the Board at TU Allianz & Allianz Life SA until December 2013.

Stan then worked as the President of Crédit Agricole Insurance (Poland) from January 2014 to April 2015, responsible for bringing the company to Poland and obtaining a local insurance license.

From September 2014 to May 2017, they served as a Partner at Mangograss.

In 2016, they took on the role of CEO and President at Nałęczów Spa and Konstancin Spa, leading a major restructuring project.

In 2017, they became the President of the Audit Committee at Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the President of the Board at Colbird Sp. z o.o.

From December 2017 to May 2021, they served as the President of the Audit Committee and a Supervisory Board Member at Unum Życie (Life Insurance) TUiR S.A.

Currently, since May 2021, they are a Member of the Supervisory Board, Audit & Strategic Committees at Tauron Polska Energia S.A.

Stan Borkowski, MD, MBA, completed their education with a Master of Business Administration in Finance from UQAM in Montreal, from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1987 to 1993, where they obtained their MD degree in Medicine.
