Mike Mercier

Mike Mercier is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance, risk management, and assurance services. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Finance at Minto Apartment REIT since September 2023, Mercier previously held the position of Senior Director of Corporate Finance at Canopy Growth Corporation from March 2019 to September 2023. Prior to that, various roles at Brookfield Renewable included Senior Director of Risk, Director of Financial Reporting, and Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, all contributing to a robust finance career. Beginnings in the accounting field trace back to roles at Ernst & Young in Ottawa, Welch LLP, and PwC, with qualifications as a Chartered Accountant obtained from the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting & Finance from the University of New Brunswick.
