James W. Kennedy is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and commercial disputes. Currently a partner at Mintz & Gold LLP since July 2023, Kennedy previously held the position of member/owner at James W. Kennedy PLLC from June 2022 to July 2023. Before that, Kennedy was a founding partner at Kennedy Berg LLP, specializing in complex business disputes, and at Kennedy Johnson Gallagher LLC, focusing on commercial litigation. Additional experience includes serving as a partner at Paul Hastings LLP, a partner and associate at Milgrim, Thomajan & Lee, and a litigation associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates. Kennedy began their legal career as a law secretary to Honorable Bernard S. Meyer at the Court of Appeals of the State of New York. Kennedy earned a JD from St. John’s University and a BA in Journalism from Rider University.
