Kati Pajak Strzelczyk

Associate at Mintz

Kati focuses her practice on startups, emerging growth companies, and venture funds. She advises on the intersection of business and law with an emphasis on entrepreneurship, negotiation, and financing matters. She regularly counsels clients on VC financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and other commercial transactions as well as negotiates licensing and commercial contracts. She advises clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology, energy, and retail & consumer products. Kati was a Summer Associate at Mintz in 2017.

Kati maintains an active pro bono practice, in which she counsels clients in matters relating to asylum, nonprofit organization, and individual bankruptcy. She also provides legal assistance and business support to low-income entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and sustainable businesses.

During law school, Kati served as a legal intern with Nike and Converse, where she reviewed licenses and buying agency agreements and worked on litigation and debt assignment issues related to a corporate restructuring.

Prior to attending law school, Kati was a senior consultant in the Strategy & Analytics department at IBM. Kati applies her experience as a business consultant to her practice of law by considering both the legal and business implications of complex matters from her clients’ perspective.
