Solutions Consultant

MinuteBox is a cloud-based platform used by law firms, large companies and accounting firms for entity management, corporate governance, minute book storage and workflow automation. Its innovative suite of products are used by some of Canada’s largest legal departments and global professional services organizations.

The team has created the most powerful, accessible and secure legal technology available and the company is growing quickly as they continue to expand their footprint across North America.

You will work with the Revenue team to help showcase these solutions to prospective clients through tailored product demonstrations, product pilots and other custom experiences that are required to help our prospective clients evaluate our  technology. 

You will also work closely with the Product team to better understand new features / modules / products and how the value of those can best be conveyed to prospective clients; as well as the Customer Success team to better understand how our clients are using certain features / modules / products, so that we can share those with the Revenue team and help craft better experiences for pre-sale.

You will be an integral part of the feedback loop between our Product team and our Revenue team (i.e. what is coming down the pipe  and what is the value of it?); our prospective clients and our Product team (i.e. what are prospective clients asking for and what value are they really excited about?); and existing clients to our Revenue team (i.e. what is getting our clients really excited that we can convey during pre-sales?). 

You have the ability to multi-task and have a true passion for problem-solving and storytelling in a way that shows value to a multitude of different audiences. A passion for software and new technologies is also a must.

As a Solutions Consultant, you will report to the VP, Revenue but will work closely with many cross-functional teams in the organization. 

PREREQUISITES

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role with another technology company or consultant-related experience in a law firm environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently.
  • Analytics focused and results-driven is a must.
  • Solid presentation skills with both a passion for and experience working with B2B SaaS products and ability to dynamically adjust communication for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work as a team to deliver meaningful results, and prioritizing group needs over individual needs
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload, with great organizational skills in managing multiple projects while following procedures are an asset.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to juggle demands and meet deadlines
  • Highly self motivated and comfortable operating in a fast-growing, rapidly changing and dynamic organization with a self-governing, roll-up-your-sleeves culture.
  • Able to lead working sessions and deliverable presentations with client stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Legal entity management and an understanding of common corporate law concepts. (Nice to have)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide tailored demonstrations to prospective clients of MinuteBox’s entire product suite, leading with and illustrating value throughout
  • Stay up to date on all product developments within MinuteBox and devise value-based talk-tracks for those product developments
  • Assist in the scoping and planning of trials and pilots acting as a co-pilot to the Account Executive running the opportunity
  • Collaborate with key prospects in conjunction with the Account Executive, lead workstreams, and work to get answers that will help move relationships forward
  • Work closely with other internal parties to get answers to questions for prospects, recommend fixes and best practices, proactively
  • Advocate for our prospective clients internally by relaying  product requests and conveying the perceived value of those requests, as well as the likely impact
  • Support the reporting of various KPIs across the MinuteBox organization and help to develop measurements to understand the impact of a successful customer journey from pre-sales to post-sales.
