Israel Bryski

Israel Bryski has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Israel currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at MIO Partners, Inc., where they are responsible for designing and implementing an information security program aligned with industry frameworks. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Information Security at the same company. Israel has also worked as a Venture Advisor at YL Ventures and as a Villager at Team8, a global community of cybersecurity executives and thought leaders. Israel served as a Senior Advisory Board Member at Vercrio and as an Advisory Board Member at Cymptom (acquired by Tenable). In addition, Israel has held various positions at companies including Goldman Sachs, Aetion, Eton Park, Nomura, and TD, where they contributed to the development and implementation of information security programs and initiatives.

Israel Bryski obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Finance from Touro University in the years 2005 to 2008. Following that, Israel pursued further education at the New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering in 2009, where they took graduate courses in Information Technology. From 2011 to 2015, Israel attended Carnegie Mellon University and earned a Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) with a focus on Information Security and Assurance.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Israel Bryski has obtained a variety of certifications. In 2008, they became a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute. In 2010, Israel achieved the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification granted by ISACA and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification provided by (ISC)². In 2018, Israel obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certifications from Amazon Web Services. Israel also earned the AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification in 2020. Furthermore, Israel holds the Security+ Certified Professional certification awarded by CompTIA, and they recently acquired the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals certifications from Microsoft in 2021.
