Michele Scarlatella

Michele Scarlatella is an experienced IoT Technology Consultant at MIPI Alliance since September 2021, with a prior role as Director of Strategic Planning at STMicroelectronics from March 2015 to July 2021, where contributions included strategy evolution in IoT and the initiation of an Artificial Intelligence program. Additionally, Michele served on the Board of Directors at Trusted Connectivity Alliance from April 2008 to May 2021, managing projects to standardize MIPI I3C and define IoT Security Services. Earlier, as Central Marketing Director for the Secure Micro-controller Division at STMicroelectronics from January 2011 to December 2014, innovative product development was led in the Embedded Secure Market. Michele earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, between January 1981 and March 1985.
