Global Director, Career Acceleration at MiQ

Clare Martin's work experience starts in 2009 with internships at The Financial Times and Pearson Plc, where they gained exposure to various HR functions. In 2010, they conducted research and made talent development recommendations for BP as part of their CIPD accreditation. Clare also carried out qualitative research on career development at Diageo for their Msc dissertation.

From 2011 to 2012, Clare worked as a Learning and Talent Administrator at Belron, supporting talent management and building global HR relationships. Clare then moved to Which? as a Learning and Development Adviser, delivering training modules and facilitating group sessions.

In 2014, Clare joined CEB as the EMEA Learning and Development Lead, managing training calendars and delivering soft skills courses. Clare then transitioned to MiQ in 2016, starting as a Learning and Development Manager and eventually taking on roles such as Head of L&D, Talent Director, and currently Global Director of Career Acceleration. In these positions, Clare focused on attracting and developing talent, designing and delivering courses, and partnering with stakeholders to support employee growth.

Clare Martin has a diverse educational background. Clare obtained their MSc in Human Resources Management and Organisational Analysis from King's College London in the year 2010. Prior to that, they completed their BA in Ancient History with a 2:1 degree classification from Newcastle University in the years 2004 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Clare Martin has also acquired several certifications. Clare became a member of the International Coaching Federation in November 2020 and obtained the ICF Member Badge in February 2021. Clare also completed the PG Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching from Barefoot Coaching Ltd in November 2020. In July 2020, they became a certified Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. Furthermore, Clare Martin obtained a Personality Assessment certification from CEB in January 2016.
