Rhian McLaren

Rhian Mclaren has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Rhian has extensive experience as a designer, starting with their role as a Studio Assistant at Clarissa Hulse in 2009. Rhian then worked as a Studio Assistant at Erica Wakerly in 2010 and as an Administrator at Slim Jims Health Club from 2010 to 2011. Rhian Mclaren also has experience in graphic design, having worked as a Creative/Marketing Assistant at THE HEALTH CLUB COLLECTION LIMITED from 2011 to 2014, where their responsibilities expanded to include design projects and web management. Rhian later became a Designer at the same company from 2014 to 2015, before assuming the position of Lead Designer from 2015 to 2019. In 2013, Rhian Mclaren started their own business, Rhian Mclaren, as an Owner/Designer. Alongside their employment, they design and screen prints textiles, exhibiting their work at various events and selling through boutique retailers in the UK. Since 2019, Rhian Mclaren has been working as a Senior Brand Designer at MiQ.

Rhian Mclaren began their education in 2003 at Swansea University, where they pursued a diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design. After completing this program in 2004, they joined the University of the West of England for their Bachelor of Arts (hons) degree in Fashion and Textile Design. Rhian Mclaren successfully completed their undergraduate education at the University of the West of England in 2007.
