Tamara Gilliam has over 18 years of work experience in various roles within the television and radio industries. Tamara began their career in 2002 as an Entertainment Reporter for 790 The Zone, where they conducted script writing, researched information for daily reporting on celebrity news, and made personal appearances. In 2003, they joined The CW Network as a Television Host for the Emmy-Nominated show Atlanta Tonight, where they conducted interviews with celebrity guests, created feature and show concepts, and handled script writing and editing.
In 2014, Tamara joined Publicis Media as a VP of Learning & Development/Leadership Facilitator. In this role, they led Talent Engagement & Inclusion Initiatives, served as a Leadership Development Facilitator for Publicis Media and Publicis Imagine brands in North and South America, and held various leadership positions within the organization, such as being a Regional Lead for VivaWomen US and a Board Member for VivaWomen of Color. Tamara remained with Publicis Media until 2021.
Most recently, Tamara joined MiQ in 2021 as the Global Vice President of Learning & Development.
Tamara Gilliam, CSC, SLF has a background in psychology, having studied at Spelman College. Their education also includes a degree in Executive Coaching from The University of Georgia. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Executive Coach from Sherpa Executive Coaching, Certified MBTI Practitioner from The Myers-Briggs Company, Certified Sherpa Leadership Facilitator from Sherpa Executive Coaching, and Certified Speed of Trust Facilitator from FranklinCovey.
