Jim Nelson

Jim Nelson is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as Lead Captain for the Global 5000 Vision at Mira Vista Aviation since May 2024. Prior to this role, Jim held positions as a Global Express Captain at Fly Alliance, a G200 Captain at Silver Air Private Jets, and a First Officer on the Gulfstream IV at Jet Edge International, where a strong emphasis was placed on customer service and operational excellence. Jim's career also includes serving as a First Officer on the Challenger 601 and in various capacities on the Citation V, highlighting a robust background in private and corporate aviation operations across North America and the Caribbean. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA and an Associate of Arts in Real Estate from Orange Coast College.
