Romain Biron

Romain Biron currently serves as Directeur autorisé and Head of Compliance at Mirabaud & Cie (Europe) SA since October 2022. Previously, Romain held the position of Directeur at BDO Luxembourg from February 2022 to October 2022 and served as Deputy Head of Compliance at Banque de Luxembourg for over a decade, from February 2011 to February 2022. Romain's expertise encompasses tax compliance, particularly in areas such as CRS, FATCA, DAC 6, and VAT, as well as AML and other regulatory subjects. Romain has also been involved in estate planning, primarily in the French market, and has experience in tax analysis and compliance across various jurisdictions, including Luxembourg, Belgium, the UK, and Italy. Romain holds a Master 2 (M2) degree in Droit fiscal / taxation from Nantes Université.
