Kris van Roey

Kris Van Roey has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT field. Currently, they serve as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Miraclon Corporation, a global provider of printing products for the packaging sector. In this role, they oversee various aspects of the company's operations and technological advancements.

Prior to their current position, Kris worked as the Group Processes Digitalization Manager at Eurofins, where they led a strategic Digital Transformation Program. Kris played a key role in designing and developing a new digital platform to streamline and enhance group service center processes.

Before Eurofins, Kris held the position of General Manager IT for Toyo Ink Group (formerly Arets Graphics). During their tenure, they developed and executed a digital transformation roadmap for Toyo Ink Europe, implementing a global SAP ERP & BI template along with various line-of-business SaaS applications.

In addition to their roles at Miraclon, Eurofins, and Toyo Ink Group, Kris also served in various leadership positions at Atlas Copco. Kris was the IT Manager for both the Power Technique and Construction Technique Business Areas, where they were responsible for business IT demand, architecture, security, and project delivery. Kris also served as the Global Business Systems Delivery Manager, leading a team of IT professionals and project leaders, and overseeing the delivery of ERP, CRM, and eCommerce solutions globally.

Kris Van Roey has a Master of Science degree in Computer Sciences from KU Leuven, which they earned from 2001 to 2003. Kris also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Antwerp, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. In addition, Kris completed a Master's degree in Management from the Antwerp Management School from 2003 to 2004. Before pursuing higher education, they attended Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat from 1992 to 1999, focusing on the study of Latin-Mathematics. Kris also holds a certification in ITIL V3 Foundation from EXIN, obtained in the year 2011.
