John Makevich

John Makevich has held various leadership roles in the community college system, including Dean at MiraCosta College and College of the Canyons. John also has experience working with the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office and the Online Education Initiative. John holds a Doctor of Education degree from Arizona State University, as well as a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences with a specialization in Physics.
