Michael Truong

Michael Truong, LCSW, currently serves as the Interim CARE Manager and Clinical Case Manager at MiraCosta College while also instructing Child Welfare at California State University San Marcos. Previously, Michael worked as a Protective Services Worker with the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency, where responsibilities included investigating child abuse allegations and providing therapeutic interventions. Prior experience includes roles as a Child Welfare Services Intern, Project Coordinator at FORECAST 3D, and AmeriCorps Member at City Year, where significant contributions were made towards student support and engagement. Michael holds a Master of Social Work from California State University San Marcos and a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University. Additional education includes a Bachelor's Degree in European Studies from Maastricht University.
