Bob Holmen was an original co-founder of Miramar Venture Partners and currently advises Miramar Digital Ventures in finance and legal administration. Bob has spent his career working in and advising technology, healthcare and financial services companies. He has engaged at every phase of corporate development, from formation to financing to operations to exiting, and has served in diverse roles from electrical engineer (Hughes Aircraft) to an attorney at major law firms (Latham & Watkins, Morrison & Foerster) to general counsel for a series of healthcare, technology and financial services companies to venture capital fund co-founder and managing director.
Bob received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1985, serving as an officer of the national engineering honor society at Stanford. He received his J.D. from UC Berkeley in 1989. Bob has served as Adjunct Professor, teaching graduate courses on Venture Capital in the MBA Program at the USC Marshall School of Business and at UC Irvine School of Law, and currently serves on the Board of Life College, a post-secondary school dedicated to helping young adults with disabilities transition to independent life and employment.
