Alex Freedland

Alex Freedland is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cloud computing and innovative infrastructure solutions. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Mirantis since January 2011, Alex has led the company to become a significant player in the OpenStack and Kubernetes markets, successfully scaling operations to serve hundreds of clients globally and raising $200 million in funding. Additionally, Alex has held advisory and leadership roles at various organizations, including serving as an Advisor and Investor at Session AI, Strategy Advisor at Nova Labs, and Chief Financial Officer at FreedomFi. Alex's expertise is further demonstrated through involvement as Chairman of the Board at ETERNYZE AG and as Executive Chairman of Ventra GO!, with earlier experience as Co-founder and CTO of RSI Group, Inc. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Math from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
