Roman Zhnichkov

Roman Zhnichkov has over a decade of experience at Mirantis, progressing through various engineering and management roles to currently serve as Director of Engineering in Product Development. Zhnichkov leads a geo-distributed team focused on on-prem cloud infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes and OpenStack, achieving significant enhancements in customer satisfaction and cost efficiency. Previous roles include directorship in Professional Services, overseeing large engineering teams globally, and managing private cloud implementations. Zhnichkov also has a strong background in IT infrastructure management, having built foundational systems from the ground up. Earlier experience includes a role as System Administrator at PRCNIT Saratov State University, complemented by a specialist degree in Computer Science from Saratov State University.
