Gina Harris

Gina Harris is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and clinical management. Currently serving as the Chief Clinical Officer at Hospice Care of the Lowcountry since July 2023, Gina has previously held leadership positions, including Director of Clinical Services and Director of Patient Care Services in the same organization. From August 2019 to November 2023, Gina was the Director of Nursing at Vi Living, overseeing regulatory compliance and care for skilled and long-term care guests. Prior to that, Gina operated as a self-employed health and fitness coach, providing clients with strategies for physical improvement and motivation from March 2016 to August 2019. Additionally, Gina worked as a Medical Facilities Inspector for the Virginia Department of Health, ensuring nursing homes met regulations from June 2014 to August 2019, and as Director of Nursing at Kendal at Lexington from December 2011 to June 2014. Gina holds a Master's degree in Registered Nursing from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Lynchburg College.
