Charles Marusak has a diverse work experience in the field of research and science. Charles currently works as a Scientist at miRecule, Inc. since June 2019. Previously, they were a Researcher PhD Student at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine from September 2014 to May 2019, where they defended their Biochemistry PhD and authored two papers on translational melanoma research. Before that, they worked as a Research Fellow at Wayne State University from May 2013 to September 2013, where they were awarded a stipend to assist in the development of a methamphetamine-based model for Alzheimer's and developed skills in protein fractionation, pathway analysis, immunogenetics, and rat brain dissection. In 2012, they served as a Student Teacher at Michigan State University, assisting in teaching a basic biology laboratory, explaining procedures, and grading assignments for over 140 students. Additionally, in the same year, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Wayne State University, assisting in the characterization of ubiquitin ligases in Parkinson's disease and developing basic lab skills in immunogenetics, protein fractionation, in vitro pharmacokinetics, and DNA prep.
Charles Marusak pursued their education in the field of biochemistry. Charles obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University from 2010 to 2014.
