Miriam's Kitchen

Miriam’s Kitchen is committed to ending chronic and veteran homelessness in Washington, DC. Our approach to ending homelessness begins with a fresh, healthy meal surrounded by meaningful connection and community. From there, we help our neighbors experiencing homelessness improve health, increase income, obtain housing, and remain stably housed through a range of programs and partnerships. We advocate for permanent supportive housing as a long-term solution, and collaborate with leaders city-wide to make instances of homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring.
