Tim Jegels

Tim Jegels is an experienced engineering manager and security professional currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Application Security at Miro since April 2023. Previously, Tim held positions as a Staff Security Engineer at Yoco and as a Security Architect at onoConnect. At Prodigy Finance, Tim managed the information security program, leading initiatives such as achieving Cyber Essentials certification. Tim's earlier roles include Technology Team Lead and Senior Software Developer at Intellection Software, where contributions focused on automated market research tools and core compute engine prototypes. Tim began a career in software development at Yellowtail Software and Teach Me 2. Tim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
