Julia Strangio-McRae has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Julia co-founded Mirrored Horizons in 2019, where they serve as the Principal Alignment Consultant. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at IJCM from 2014 to 2019. Julia also held the role of People and Culture Director at Caydon Property from 2015 to 2019. Julia has experience in Human Resources as a Senior HR Advisor at GM Holden from 2013 to 2014 and as a People, Culture & Operations Manager at Bresic Whitney from 2011 to 2013. Julia has previously worked as a People & Culture Advisor at The Wine Society, a Human Resources Officer at Powercor, and a Human Resources Coordinator at United Petroleum and ThoughtWorks. Julia took time off between 2014 and 2019 to focus on their role as a proud mother of three.
Julia Strangio-McRae completed their Bachelor of Business degree in Human Resources from Monash University from 2003 to 2005. In 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment from Selmar Institute of Education. In 2019, they received a Certificate IV in Workplace and Business Coaching from Open Door Coaching. Additionally, Julia has obtained certifications in DISC Advanced from DISC Profiles Australia Pty Ltd in 2020, Life Styles Inventory from Human Synergistics Australia & NZ in 2017, and Project Management from the Australian Institute of Management in 2009.
