David Hughes

David Hughes currently holds multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Governance Group at the New Zealand Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre, Director at Hill Labs and Miruku, and Chair of Precision Seafood Harvesting. With extensive experience, David has served as Chair of the Board at BPN Ltd since 2009 and held various directorships, including a past position at Science New Zealand. David has a strong academic foundation with a Diploma in Applied Statistics from Massey University, a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, and completed an Advanced Industrial Marketing Strategy Programme at INSEAD. David's focus centers on innovative agricultural practices, sustainable food production, and enhancing biodiversity throughout New Zealand.
