Tiago Nunes M.D.

Tiago Nunes MD, PhD has a strong background in clinical development and research. Tiago currently holds the position of Vice President, Clinical Development at Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and has been with the company since 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director and Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development at Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Tiago'sprevious experience includes working as a Clinical Development Lead at Nestlé Health Science from 2018 to 2020, and as a Digestive Health Specialist at Nestle Research Center from 2015 to 2018. Tiago also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Technical University of Munich from 2012 to 2014, and as a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Barcelona from 2009 to 2012. Tiago began their career with a residency in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where they gained practical training in various areas of clinical medicine and gastroenterology from 2006 to 2010.

Tiago Nunes MD, PhD completed their education with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro between 2000 and 2005. Tiago then pursued a Master's degree in Biomedicine from Universitat de Barcelona from 2010 to 2011. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Gastroenterology from Universitat de Barcelona between 2009 and 2013.
