Angela Conley

Senior Quality Assurance Project Specialist at Mirus Bio

Angela Conley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Angela began their career as a Certified Veterinary Technician at Lancaster Veterinary Clinic in 1998, where they were responsible for various tasks such as handling appointments, radiology, vaccinations, and assisting with surgeries and appointments. Angela also ran the lab, conducting bacterial cultures, CBCs, differentials, cytology, UA's, and ELISA tests.

In 2004, Angela joined King Pharmaceuticals as a QC Technician, where they followed strict cGMPs and SOPs. Angela'sresponsibilities included collecting water samples and conducting tests for micro, TOC, LAL, and heavy metal/nitrates. Angela also performed moisture testing using the Karl Fischer method.

Moving forward, Angela worked at Luminex Corporation as a Reagent Manufacturing Section Lead from 2008 to 2018. In this role, they performed oligonucleotide synthesis and downstream processing, manufactured primer mixes, buffers, and solutions, and also manufactured controls in a biosafety lab level 2.

In 2018, Angela joined PPD as an Associate Group Leader. Angela'sresponsibilities involved providing line-level management coordination, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring timely completion of projects. Angela also assisted in the preparation and implementation of company policies, quality systems, and training programs.

From 2021 to 2022, Angela worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions as a Scientist II in Quality Control Stability. Angela'stasks included drug product/substance testing using various techniques, such as pH, soloVPE, osmometer, CE, and icIEF. Angela also reviewed data prior to uploading it to clients.

Most recently, Angela joined Mirus Bio LLC in 2023 as a Quality Assurance Project Specialist, on a temporary basis. Additional information regarding the start and end dates of this role is not provided.

Angela Conley completed their Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technician at Madison Area Technical College from 1993 to 1996. Angela then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, graduating between 1998 and 2002. Angela furthered their education by earning a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2011 to 2013.
