Christopher Borton

Christopher Borton has over four decades of experience in engineering and leadership. Currently serving as a Member and Board Chair of the Board of Trustees at Misericordia University since July 2009, Christopher also held various leadership roles at Borton-Lawson, a multi-discipline engineering and technology firm, from January 1988 until December 2022, including Chief Executive Officer and Senior Advisor. Prior to this, Christopher was Vice President at Smith Miller and Associates, focusing on civil engineering, project management, and strategic direction from January 1978 to 1988, and began as a senior engineer as an Associate. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Water Resources Engineering from Penn State University, completed in 1978, and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1973.
