Kristen Mitchell Samuels Edd

Kristen Mitchell Samuels EdD, MSW, MS, MEd is an accomplished educator and leader in social work education, currently serving as the Director of Field Education at the University of Phoenix since January 2017, where responsibilities include the development and launch of a nationwide BSSW program and collaboration on curriculum and assessment. With extensive experience as an instructor and instructional designer at Misericordia University, Kristen has effectively implemented best practices in online and in-person teaching. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Field Education at Temple University and caseworker with AmeriCorps, demonstrating a commitment to community service and social justice.
