William Smedberg

William Smedberg has had a long and successful career in finance and executive management. William began their career in 1989 as the Controller of the Fiber & Energy Group at James River Corporation. In 1991, they moved to Brussels to become the Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development at James River - Europe. In 1996, they joined Pathnet Telecommunications as the Executive Vice President and CFO, where they structured and negotiated a $255 million equity infusion of cash and rights-of-way. In 2001, they were recruited to Network Access Solutions as the Executive Vice President and Board Member, where they managed all aspects of the finance, administration and human resources. In 2003, they joined PingTone Communications as President, CFO, and Board Member, where they grew revenues at a CAGR of 21% and increased EBITDA from (36%) to 17%. In 2015, they became the President of WRS Associates, LLC, where they provided outsourced executive management for early stage and growth stage UCaaS, cloud, and technology companies. Most recently, in 2017, they founded and became the CFO of MISO3, a Service Assurance Platform that improves decision-making on IT and infrastructure services.

William Smedberg received their MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, with a focus in Finance and Strategic Planning. William also holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia.
