Mai Hawas

Mai Hawas is a highly experienced professional in the field of architecture and sustainable development. Currently serving as Co Founder and Principal at Geometric Code for Decoration & Sustainable Development since February 2024, and as Project Manager at Dar Al-Handasah - Shair and Partners since December 2006, Mai has significantly contributed to updating standards for MOMRA in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Mai holds professorships in Islamic architecture and the theory of 19th & 20th architecture at Misr International University and Misr University for Science and Technology, respectively. With a rich background that includes project management roles at GGG and Jeddah Central Development Company, as well as consultancy positions in various organizations, Mai's education encompasses multiple advanced degrees in Islamic architecture, biogeometry, and sustainable building practices, including certifications from notable institutions.
