Paurav Shukla

Paurav Shukla is a distinguished academic and practitioner in the field of marketing, currently serving as a Professor of Marketing and Department Head of Research at Southampton Business School since September 2019. Shukla has extensive experience as a visiting professor at multiple institutions, including Aalto University, where courses in marketing and consumer behavior are taught, and Central Africa Europe Business School, where modules in marketing and brand management are delivered to executive MBA students. With a strong background comprising various leadership roles in higher education, including prior positions at Essex Business School and Glasgow Caledonian University, Shukla is also a founding member of the International Management Research Academy and has been involved in management consulting. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Marketing Management and an MBA in Marketing, complemented by a BSc in Chemistry.
