Mostafa Alfishawy is an experienced infectious disease consultant and healthcare professional with a diverse background in academia and clinical practice. Since November 2021, Mostafa has served as an Infectious Disease Consultant at Misr University for Science and Technology and also holds similar roles at Al-Azhar University and Dar Al Fouad Hospital. As the Founder and Organizer of Infectious Diseases Consultants and Academic Researchers of Egypt since February 2019, Mostafa has demonstrated leadership in the field. Additional contributions include co-founding ID Lab and serving as an advisor and board member. Mostafa completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at UPMC and held the position of Chief Resident during training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Mostafa began a career in medicine as a Clinical Instructor at Cairo University after earning an MBBCh from the same institution.
