Marion Bennett

Executive, Practice, Evidence & Impact at Mission Australia

Before joining Mission Australia, Marion had a long career in the NSW Government including advising on social policy, governance and performance improvement. As Executive Director of Housing Policy and Homelessness, she led housing and homelessness policy, inter-governmental negotiations, research, and delivery of affordable housing and homelessness programs. In 2015, she joined Mission Australia as Head of Policy & Advocacy, and in 2017 joined the Executive and moved to lead the Practice Evidence and Impact group. In this role, Marion drives the continuous improvement and growth of Mission Australia’s services, through practice quality, service design, innovation, evidence and insights, research and evaluation, and business development. She is a founding member and sits on the Board of the Constellation Project, a collaboration to end homelessness. Marion holds an Arts Honours Degree and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
