William David Tobin

William David Tobin is the founder and Senior MD at Mission Capital Advisors. William has previously worked as an asset manager at Dime Savings Bank and as a founding partner at EQUITYMULTIPLE. William also has experience working in the e-commerce industry, having served as the CEO of Supergoop!.

Tobin has a long history of working in finance and asset management. William began their career at Dime Savings Bank in 1992, where they worked as an asset manager in the Asset Resolution Department. William played an integral role in the liquidation of the bank's $1.2 billion non-performing single-family loan and REO portfolio. The disposition program included a multi-year asset-by-asset sellout culminating in a $300 million bulk offering to many of the major portfolio investors in the whole loan investment arena.

After leaving Dime Savings Bank, Tobin co-founded EQUITYMULTIPLE, a real estate crowdfunding platform. William also served as the CEO of Supergoop!, an e-commerce company that sells sunscreen and skincare products. In 2018, they returned to Mission Capital Advisors, the firm they had founded in 2002, and currently serves as its Senior MD.

William David Tobin is an MBA candidate at the NYU Stern School of Business, where they are studying Banking & Finance. William also has a BA in English Literature from Syracuse University.
