Vinita Marwaha Madill is a project manager at Mission Control Space Services Inc. and the founder of Rocket Women. Vinita has over eight years of experience in the space industry, working as an engineer and operations manager on various international space projects.
Madill’s passion for space began when they were growing up in India and watching the country’s first satellite launch into orbit. Vinita later studied engineering and applied physics at the University of Toronto, where they worked on developing new medical devices. After graduation, Madill worked as an engineer on various international space projects, including the European Space Agency’s ISS payload operations and the Intelligent Transportation Systems for Miovision Technologies.
In 2013, Madill founded Rocket Women, a non-profit organization that encourages women to pursue careers in the STEM fields. Through their work with Rocket Women, Madill has been able to inspire young women to follow their dreams and pursue careers in the space industry.
Vinita Marwaha Madill has a MSc Space Management from the International Space University, a MSc Astronautics and Space Engineering from Cranfield University, and a Space Studies Program Interdisciplinary from the International Space University. Vinita also has a BSc in Mathematics and Physics with Astrophysics from King's College London.
They are on a team with Candice Kinney - Communications Manager, Kaizad Raimalwala - Business Development Manager, and Yolanda Brown - Director of People & Programs. Their manager is Ewan Reid, President & CEO.
