Betina Gollander-Jensen

Managing Director at Mission East

Betina Gollander-Jensen is an experienced professional in international aid and humanitarian work, currently serving as the Managing Director of Mission East since January 2021. Prior to this role, Gollander-Jensen held the position of Head of International Aid at Caritas Danmark from March 2015 to January 2021 and worked as a Program Manager for Biosecurity at Statens Serum Institut between April 2014 and February 2015. Gollander-Jensen has also served as a Senior Advisor on Aid Effectiveness and Donor Coordination at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark and as a Counsellor for Development with the Danish Refugee Council. Earlier career highlights include roles as a Desk Officer for Uganda and Sri Lanka at UNHCR and as a Refugee/Programme Coordinator at Amnesty International. Gollander-Jensen holds a Master's degree in Social Science focusing on Aid Effectiveness and Human Rights from Roskilde University and has studied law at the University of Copenhagen.
