Laura Elaine Daza García is an accomplished Project Manager at the Mission Economic Development Agency, focusing on the development of affordable housing projects since September 2021. With a solid foundation in urban and regional planning, having earned a Master's degree from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University, Laura's experience encompasses various roles in community development, tenant advocacy, and housing management. Previous positions include Housing Development Intern at the Community Corporation of Santa Monica, Community Development Associate at T.R.U.S.T South LA, and Tenant Counselor and Organizer at Causa Justa :: Just Cause, where Laura provided comprehensive support and advocacy for low-income tenants. Laura's background also includes legal interpretation and case management, reinforcing a strong commitment to community engagement and social justice.
