Brent Kooi

Brent Kooi is an experienced missionary and educator with a robust background in student life management and youth ministry. Currently serving at Mission to the World since June 2009, Brent focuses on mentoring young adults and equipping them for missionary work in the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, Brent held roles such as Vice President for Student Life, where efforts were directed towards establishing an English-speaking Christian college in Japan, and worked as a missionary with a vision to develop future church leaders. Brent's earlier career includes various student life and residence management positions at institutions such as Belhaven University, California Baptist University, Huntington University, and Baker College, alongside youth ministry roles in local churches. Education includes a Master’s in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor's in History from Dordt University.
