Erin Schmidt

Erin Schmidt has a diverse background in veterinary medicine. Erin is currently the Medical Director at Animal Kingdom Veterinary Care Center, a position they have held since March 2023. Erin is certified by the IVCA in animal chiropractic and has a special interest in pain management and soft tissue surgery. Prior to their current role, they worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Chisholm Trail Animal Hospital in Park City, KS from June 2022 to February 2023. Before that, they gained experience as an Associate Veterinarian at VCA Animal Hospitals from October 2018 to May 2022 and at Hoisington Veterinary Hospital from June 2017 to December 2018.

Erin Schmidt graduated from Kansas State University in 2017 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine - DVM). Prior to that, they attended Newman University from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry. In addition to their formal education, Erin has pursued additional certifications including Animal Chiropractic Certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association in February 2023, Recover CPR certification from the RECOVER Initiative in November 2021, and Artificial Insemination from Accelerated Genetics in March 2015.
