Caitlin Turner has a diverse work experience in the fields of art and design. Caitlin started their career as an Artist's Assistant at Leslie Hirst, RISD in 2008, where they collaborated with the artist in the restoration of original paintings. In 2009, they worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Moses Brown School, supporting the teacher in running high school art classes. Caitlin also worked as a Sales Associate at the Corning Museum of Glass, where they became highly knowledgeable about the glass artists and sold fine art glass and jewelry. Caitlin also worked as a Color Assistant at Rhode Island School of Design, providing one-on-one instruction to students on the function and properties of color. Caitlin interned as an Interior Designer/Furniture Designer at Kevin Walz and then worked as an Assistant to the Exhibition Manager at Ann Arbor Art Center, where they prepared for upcoming gallery exhibitions and drafted press releases. Caitlin also worked as an Administrative Assistant at The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes, maintaining an online calendar, producing newsletters, and assisting in the hanging and curation of exhibits. Caitlin pursued freelance work as a Scientific Illustrator and then joined Cornell Lab of Ornithology as a Scientific Illustrator. Currently, they are employed at MISSION, where they started as a Graphic Designer and has been promoted to Senior Graphic Designer and currently holds the position of Art Director.
Caitlin Turner completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design from 2007 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Post Baccalaureate degree in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, during 2014 to 2015.
