Paul Jansson, MBA

Paul Jansson, MBA has a strong background in finance and accounting. Paul currently serves as the Controller at MISSION since February 2023. Before that, they held the same role at The Agency RE from May 2022 to February 2023, and at Triplemint from March 2021 to May 2022. Prior to their roles as a Controller, Paul worked at Dialectic Distribution as a Financial Controller from January 2018 to March 2021. Paul demonstrated their expertise by successfully navigating four bank audits and increasing the credit line by over 100%. Paul also played a key role in implementing Netsuite Oneworld and integrating third-party online retail and inventory management software. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Accounting Specialist at Blackbaud from May 2014 to January 2018, and as a Consultant/Project Manager at Hit Play LLC from January 2010 to December 2016. Paul provided financial consulting and successfully negotiated reduced copyright liability for a start-up children's music producer during their time at Hit Play LLC. Paul began their career at Universal Music Group, where they served as a Senior Coordinator, Licensing from July 2006 to December 2013. Paul managed a team of four and was responsible for negotiating licensing terms and resolving disputes while reducing potential liability.

Paul Jansson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Management/Classical Performance from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Paul then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Finance, General at Rutgers University - Newark.
