Baher Boktor

Baher Boktor is a Research Assistant with a strong focus on neuroscience. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Global Education and Research at Mission:BRAIN since 2025, they have also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of North Florida, where they studied DNAJB1's role in carcinogenesis. Baher has contributed to educational initiatives at the Mayo Clinic, writing and teaching neuroscience lessons for K-12 students, and was previously part of a research group investigating SERPINA3 in glioblastomas. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of North Florida, where they also garnered multiple scholarships and grants.
