Anitra Mathers is an experienced professional in food services and hospitality management, currently serving as the Manager of Food Services for the City of Mississauga since October 2018. In this role, Anitra is responsible for providing operational and functional guidance across multiple venues, overseeing full cycle procurement for food-related contracts citywide. Prior to this position, Anitra held the role of Director of Food and Beverage at Oakdale Golf and Country Club, managing 120 staff and handling a $3 million annual budget. Anitra's earlier experience includes serving as Clubhouse Manager at York Downs Golf and Country Club and completing a management internship at The Toronto Golf Club. Anitra began a career in the hospitality industry as a housemaid at Buckingham Palace, showcasing a diverse background in both operational and customer-facing roles. Educationally, Anitra holds a diploma in Hotel and Resort Administration from Georgian College and a diploma in Travel and Tourism from Sheridan College.
