Prior roles include Senior Manager of Business Planning, where strategic advice was provided to executive teams, and Business Advisor, focusing on feasibility studies and financial modeling for business development. Maurice's earlier experience includes serving as a Planner for the Region of Peel, contributing to regional sustainability planning, and as a Project Lead & Manager with the Canadian International Development Agency, promoting sustainability principles in local governance. Educational qualifications encompass a Schulich Mini-MBA in Essentials of Management, a Master's Certificate in Municipal Leadership, and advanced degrees in Urban Geography and Environmental Management from The University of the West Indies.
