Elizabeth Walsh is a Senior Biologist at Mississippi Aquarium, contributing to the start-up of the facility in 2020 and managing daily operations. Previously, Elizabeth held the position of Biologist II at Johnny Morris' Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium, where responsibilities included leading animal transports and ensuring the health of animals during transit. Experience also includes managing coral conservation efforts at Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium and various internships focusing on marine life and education. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island, complementing academic knowledge with extensive practical experience in aquatic environments.
