Marcella McKay

Marcella McKay has extensive work experience in various healthcare and nursing executive roles. Marcella has worked as an Independent Consultant and as a Healthcare/Nurse Executive at Longview Health Consulting. Marcella also served as the President/CEO of the MHA Health, Research & Educational Foundation and as the Chief Operating Officer at the Mississippi Hospital Association. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director at the Mississippi Board of Nursing. Their career spans over several decades, starting in 1985 with their appointment as the Executive Director at the Mississippi Board of Nursing.

Marcella McKay has a Bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Biology from Mississippi University for Women. Marcella also holds a Master of Education (MEd) in Special Education from the same institution. In addition, Marcella McKay has obtained a MSN and a PhD in Nursing, Health Sciences/Administration from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
