Hunter Goosmann

Hunter Goosmann serves as the Director of Infrastructure at MOREnet since October 2024 and as an Operating Committee Member at Mountain Community Capital Fund since April 2023. Since December 2008, Hunter has been on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH) and has contributed to the University of North Carolina at Asheville as an Adjunct Associate Professor and an advisory board member for the Department of Management and Accountancy. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of the Education & Research Consortium of the Western Carolinas, Inc. from November 2004 to May 2023, where Hunter led initiatives in data management and broadband access. Hunter has held various managerial roles in technology and telecommunications, including as Critical Situation Manager at Storage Technology Corporation and Program Manager at Level 3 Communications. Hunter holds an MBA from the University of Miami and has pursued various certifications in healthcare IT and leadership development.
