Raquel Nachatilo has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Raquel started their career as an Educational Leadership Consultant at Alpha Xi Delta, where they traveled across the US to create and facilitate leadership development programs for college student members. Raquel also successfully established a new chapter in Marietta, GA. After that, they joined Girl Scouts—Dakota Horizons as a Membership and Program Director, where they promoted the Girl Scout program across 14 counties in NW North Dakota and planned and facilitated Girl Scout meetings and special events. Following this, Raquel worked at Midwest TeleServices International as a Vice President of Human Resources, where they were responsible for HR programs for all call center locations across ND, IA, and Canada, including recruitment, hiring, compliance, employee relations, and job descriptions. Their most recent position was as a Human Resources Director at Missouri Valley Family YMCA. In this role, they provided leadership and support to executives and managers on various matters related to reinforcing culture, setting goals, coaching, developing policy, and implementing strategic objectives.

Raquel Nachatilo received their high school diploma from Timber Lake High School in the years 1996 to 1999. Later, they attended the University of South Dakota from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Contemporary Media and Journalism. In addition to their academic achievements, Raquel also obtained certifications such as the SHRM-CP from SHRM in September 2015 and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2008.
